Before ever thinking of forming Russell Designs
Joshua was interested in web design as a hobby.
He had seen many of the sites online and while
there were several with very stunning designs
others had very simple and un-extraordinary
designs but were easy to use. As a result of this
Joshua decided that he wanted to be able to build
his own website that would be both useful and
well designed. With such high and lofty goals he
set out and took his first online HTML class and
learned the basics. These basics only showed him
how much more there was to learn, so he took
another class which only furthered this belief.
However, hope was in sight, soon after taking his
second class Joshua found an amazing piece of
software. RapidWeaver. With the help of
RapidWeaver Joshua has been learning and growing
in the field of Web Design by trial and error.
With help from some online tutorials and hours
spent designing lots of pointless websites he has
even furthered his skills. During all of this
self training and teaching Joshua entertained the
faint idea that just maybe he could make this
into a high school and college job. With that
seed planted our story continues.
In April 2007 the seed planted bore fruit.
Joshua's first website design opportunity was
found almost by accident. Joshua's mother had
been talking with some friends from church one of
which gave Joshua the contact information for
Puddin' Pie Children's Boutique all within a week
of finding out that Joshua did web design. With
the start of the Puddin' Pie site design Russell
Designs was born. After almost a year of learning
and training all of that hard work paid off and
the first happy customer was served.
The first site design and customer came with the
vision of working through college by designing
websites, business cards, brochures and more for
small and medium sized businesses. Creating a
legacy of "Stunning Designs, Amazing Prices" is
the vision of Russell Designs. Our vision is to
satisfy our customers to the utmost of our
abilities and produce a quality product at a
lower cost.
